151 Years Strong: Annual Church Cookout & Potluck
Celebrating UUNWI’s 151st Anniversary

Event Overview

We’re marking 151 years of community, justice, and joyful fellowship with a festive Cookout & Potluck in our Memorial Garden. The church will fire up the grill with meat and vegetarian entrées—your part is to bring the delicious sides, desserts, or beverages that make a true potluck shine!

What to Expect

  • Entrées by UUNWI:
    – Grilled burgers (beef & plant-based)
    – Hot dogs 

  • Potluck Contributions:
    – Side dishes (salads, casseroles, veggie medleys)
    – Desserts (cookies, bars, fruit platters)
    – Drinks (lemonade, iced tea, water, non-alcoholic punch)

  • Activities & Amenities:
    – Lawn games 
    – Guided strolls through the Memorial Garden
    – Plenty of shade, picnic tables,

What to Bring

  • Your favorite side, dessert, or beverage to share

  • A serving utensil labeled with your name

  • A lawn chair or blanket for extra seating

  • Optional: a hat or sunscreen for comfort
