This past weekend, the First Unitarian Church of Northwest Indiana held a highly successful Congregational Developmental Retreat, bringing together members to reflect on the church’s mission and plan for its future. With around half of the voting members in attendance, the retreat was a powerful opportunity for connection, collaboration, and envisioning the path forward for our beloved community.

The retreat was not only productive but also a lot of fun! Attendees participated in a series of engaging workshops, discussions, and brainstorming sessions, all aimed at identifying the key goals and priorities for the church in the coming years. From developing new ideas for programming and outreach to enhancing the ways we nurture spiritual growth, the retreat was filled with creative energy and commitment to our shared values.

Throughout the day, members worked hard to outline a strategic plan that will guide the church in the years to come. With a focus on growing spiritually, building community, and living our values, participants left the retreat feeling inspired, energized, and ready to take the next steps together.

We are thrilled with the level of engagement and the meaningful contributions made by all who attended. The retreat was a testament to the strength of our community and our collective commitment to ensuring the long-term health and vitality of our church.

As we move forward, the insights and ideas generated during the retreat will play a key role in shaping the future of the First Unitarian Church of Northwest Indiana. We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, and we look forward to working together to bring these exciting plans to life!
